Houston says he is number one contender

Mixed Martial Arts star Ross Houston believes he is now the number one contender for the Cage Warriors world welterweight title after a stunning victory in London.

The Inverness athlete defeated veteran Nathan Jones at Cage Warriors 95 on Saturday to extend his undefeated record to seven wins.

Now he says he will not accept any other fight unless it is for the Cage Warriors World Welterwieght belt against champion Stefano Paterno of Italy.

He said he has spoken to the fight promoter and is confident the next time he enters the octagon it will be for the chance to become world champion.
