Nairn County boss Les Fridge is hoping his creative attackers can do the damage in their Highland League tussle at Inverurie Locos on Saturday.

NAIRN County will kick off the new Highland League campaign with a tough home tie against Formartine United after fixtures were released today.

The Wee County, who finished third and were North of Scotland Cup finalists in an exciting season last time out, host United, who finished fourth, on August 2.

Clashes with local rivals Clach will take place at Grant Street Park on November 1 and at Station Park on March 14.

Les Fridge's men will travel to reigning champions Brora Rangers on October 11, while they host the Cattachs on January 31.

Nairn finish their season with a trip to Lossiemouth on April 18.

After the champions are crowned, they'll face a two-legged play off against the winners of the Lowland League, and if victorious, will then square up to the bottom-placed club in Scottish League Two in another two-match decider to see who plys their trade in the Scottish Professional Football League the following season.
