History is made due to Swiss precision at Highland Week of Curling in Inverness

Swiss curler Andreas Flammer wrote his name into the record books by becoming only the second skip to record a hat trick in the Highland Week of International Curling.

The annual event was played for the 54th year at the Inverness Ice Centre.

A total of 26 teams were drawn from Scotland, England, Canada, Switzerland and the United States.

Accompanying Flammer in his third success was Inverness retired policeman Graham McKenna.
