Highland youngsters target cup success

FOLLOWING the success of last weekend’s Highland 7s tournament, Canal Park is being put to good use again as they host the Caledonia Finals Day on Sunday.
The first games kick-off at 11am and among the 20 teams taking part there will be some home interest as Highland’s under-15s play in the premier competition for their age group as they take on Dundee Eagles in the Cup.
The playing schedules are as follows:
Under-18s: Cup — Perthshire v Gordonstoun (12.30pm). Shield — Deeside v Aberdeen Wanderers (11am). Bowl — Aberdeen Grammar v Moray (12.30pm). Plate — Dunfermline v Falkirk (2pm).
Under-16s: Shield — Perthshire v Moray (12.30pm). Bowl — Ross Sutherland v Ellon (11am).
Under-15s: Cup — Highland v Dundee Eagles (2pm). Shield — Aberdeen Grammar v Stirling County (2pm). Bowl — Ross Sutherland v Ellon (12.30pm). Plate — Howe of Fife v Caithness (2pm).
