Highland Martial Arts Centre will grow MMA in the Highlands

With the start of a new year comes a new facility, a new name and new classes for budding combat sport athletes in Inverness.

SBG Inverness has been rebranded as the Highland Martial Arts Centre, and opened the doors to their new Thornbush Road premises this week.

The gym’s head coach Ross Houston, a world champion mixed martialartist with Cage Warriors, says that the changes will allow the sport to grow in the Highlands and reach more people than ever before.

“We had our eyes on the new location for a bit, it was just the right opportunity and the right place to announce it,” Houston said.
