Dave Carson is bracing his Highland players for one of the biggest tests of the season as Stewart’s Melville come calling this weekend.

The Highland head coach knows just how valuable it would be to glean four or five points from the battle of second versus third in National League Two.

Highland rose above the Edinburgh club at the weekend after coming from behind to beat hosts Glasgow Accies, but trail leaders Biggar by eight points.

Carson said: "It is going to be a fantastic game to be at, a big day, and hopefully we can attract a big crowd to get right behind us."
