HENRY Leitch produced a knockout performance as he recorded an impressive victory last weekend.

The Highland Boxing Academy teenager dominated his bout as he stopped his opponent in the second round at an exhibition in Insch.

Leitch (15) is being touted as a promising prospect at the Inverness club and show his quality in the ring last weekend.

HBA head coach Liam Foy says it was a terrific performance from the youngster and believes he is capable of having a bright future in the sport.

He said: "Henry was actually making his debut in competitive boxing and took on an athlete from Insch Boxing Club.

"He was excellent and managed to record a stoppage in the second round.

"He is a boxer who has waited a long time to get his debut for different reasons.

"He has been a patient lad who has waited a long time to get his opportunity.

"But he didn't hang about when he did get his chance and he took his opponent to task and secure the win by stoppage."
