Fulton came out on top in the Development D 57 kg category when she defeated Destany Robertson.

The HBA fighter proved too good for the North West Boxing Club pugilist as she forced a third round stoppage to claim the title.

Urquhart was victorious in the Development E 57 kg final when he defeated Conor Hynd from Beath Boxing Club.

Andrew Mclaughlan also reached the final of his category, but finished with silver after missing out on gold due to a 3–2 decision.

He claimed victory by split decision in a close contest in the final.

HBA head coach Liam Foy says it was a terrific performance from all of their fighters at Ravenscraig.

He was delighted with the medal tally they returned to Inverness with last weekend.

“Lindsay won by stoppage in the third round and just broke her opponent down,” said Foy.

“Lewis had not boxed for three years and had not boxed in a fight since the pandemic.

“It was a long awaited return for him to get back to action.

“He was in a tough fight and got the 3-2 decision and we were delighted that he managed to come away with the win.

“He was facing a good opponent who was a silver medallist.

“Andrew also put in a good performance and it was a close contest, but he just came up short in the final.

“Overall, I was delighted with the performance of everyone who took part at the championships down at Ravenscraig.”
