Inverness head coach Billy Dodds is facing a nervous wait to find out if Robbie Deas could be the latest player on the injury list after he had to be helped off the pitch in the 1-1 draw against Raith Rovers.

The defender was unable to walk off the pitch without assistance after picking up a knock late in the game at the Caledonian Stadium.

Deas will now go for assessment to find out the significance of his injury and the possible length of time he will be out for.

Dodds says all he can do is wait for the results.

He said: "We will wait and see on Robbie. Like a lot of the players, he will be going for a scan.

"I'm hoping it's an impact injury and that it's not a twist. He's sore but we will wait.

"Having no luck right now is an understatement."

Inverness are missing several first team players due to injury including Scott Allardice, Danny Devine, Wallace Duffy, Roddy MacGregor, Austin Samuels, Shane Sutherland and Tom Walsh.

Despite missing key players, Dodds praised his players for continuing to pick up points which has put them top of the league.

"With the boys that I have left and it is not many, I can't do nothing but praise them, they are grinding out results.

"That's why I wanted a point from Hamilton. We deserved it as there was noting in the game and to keep the run going and seven unbeaten.

"But it was too much for us, but that point today puts us top of the league.

"A point in the Championship is important, we want to win as many games as possible, but sometimes you have to grind and see what you get.

"Sometimes points can be disappointing but sometimes points are great points especially in the face of adversity and that is what we got."
