HIGHLAND are looking to extend their unbeaten run in Caledonia Regional League Division One to four games tomorrow when Gordonians visit Canal Park.

Injuries are still playing a big factor in the selection process for director of rugby Hugh Mackintosh, although this particular problem is being overcome gradually.

Ryan McLaughlan and Euan Watson made a surprise return last weekend and it is hoped they have not suffered any adverse effects. Rory Cross and Chris Aldam, however, still have some way to go before they come back, but overall the squad looks to be a fairly strong one.

Mackintosh could also possibly have the services of Kenny Cameron to help the pack, while Kevin Brown may return in the front row.

The Greens will be targeting revenge after Highland lost at Gordonians in the preliminary round of the Regional Shield at the beginning of the season.

Meanwhile, Highland Reds have no trip to Stornoway tomorrow due to a mix-up between both clubs about both kick-off and flight times. The game will be rescheduled for later in the season, probably early next year.

The junior sides are on a break due to school holidays, so there will be no games this weekend. The minis, however, have their usual session at Canal Park on Sunday, starting at 11am.
