GOLF: Inverness golfer claims victory to lift Stephen Gallacher Vase

INVERNESS golfer Summer Elliott continued her impressive form when she claimed victory at the Stephen Gallacher Vase.

The teenager came out on top as she won by four shots at Schloss Roxburghe in Kelso.

Elliott recorded rounds of 75, 77, 77, 75 to give her a total gross score of 304 (+16).

Evie MacCallum was in second place with 81, 77, 77, 73 308 (+20).

Elliott has won the last three events she has played in which include Paul Lawrie Junior Quaich and Barrie Douglas Scottish Junior Masters.
