Dingwall Academy pupils Angus Davren, Alexander Mackay, Ruairidh Munro and Rachel Johnstone have been called up for Scotland.

Dingwall Academy is hailing its sporting stars after an unprecedented number of pupils achieved success at national level this year.

Their athletic students won nine medals at the Scottish Schools Track and Field Championships.

The school also came out on top at the North of Scotland School Athletics Championship when they won 15 gold medals.

In addition the Under-17 team won gold at the 4x100m at the Scottish Schools Relay Championships.

And on top of that four pupils Angus Davren, Alexander Mackay, Rachel Johnstone and Ruairidh Munro have been called up to the Scotland under-17 athletics squad.
