Glen and Lovat face lower league opposition

The first round of the competition takes place on Saturday 31st March with the final set for Bught Park, Inverness, on Saturday 16th June.

Byes: Newtonmore and Kilmallie

Kinlochshiel v Kingussie

Beauly v Lovat

Strathglass v Skye

Fort William v Caberfeidh

Glenurquhart v Inverness

Lochaber v Lochcarron

The full draw for the first round of the Co-operative MacTavish Cup is as follows:

The winners of these ties will then face each other in the quarter-finals of the competition.

Premier Division Glenurquhart will play host to North Division One side Inverness, while Beauly, from shinty's second tier in the north, welcome Lovat from the top division.

ALL four local teams will be in direct competition following today's draw for the first round of the Co-operative MacTavish Cup.
