Former Ross County goalkeeper leaves Premiership rivals Motherwell without playing game for club

FORMER Ross County goalkeeper Scott Fox has left Premiership rivals Motherwell by mutual agreement after never playing a game for the club.
The 35-year-old signed for the Steelmen in 2020, but never featured in a competitive first-team match whilst at Fir Park.
He spent part of this season on loan at Queen of the South, but was recalled due to a lack of game time.
He has now agreed a release to allow him to search for a new club when the January transfer window opens.
Fox spent four years at Ross County, signing for the Staggies in 2015 and made 125 appearances for the club.
During his time in Dingwall, Fox helped Ross County return to the Premiership after winning promotion in 2019.
He left the club after failing to agree a new deal and joined Partick Thistle. However, he invoked a relegation release clause in 2020 after the Jags were relegated to League One.
He joined Motherwell in 2020 but suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury during his time at Fir Park.
He spent time on loan at Greenock Morton and Queen of the South before being released by Motherwell.
