The 22-year-old missed the start of the 2021/22 season through injury after signing for the Staggies, but did go on to make 23 appearances in all competitions where he received generally favourable reviews.

Now, though, he has gone from playing in the Scottish Premiership to the fifth tier of English football after putting pen-to-paper on a season long loan deal with Woking.

Last season Woking finished 15th in the 23-team division, and they will become Vokins' third loan club after previously also spending a short time at Sunderland in England's League One.

Vokins has never quite managed to live up to his perceived potential after being capped by England at under-17, under-18 and under-19 level, but many would have thought his consistent run of games in Dingwall last season would be the launching pad to reignite his career.
