The Dutch forward joined Inverness at the beginning of the season and he made 25 appearances for the club and scored two goals.

The 29-year-old, who has previously played for clubs in England such as Cheltenham Town, Barnet, Halifax Town and Torquay United welcomed the chance to move back south of the border after leaving the Caledonian Stadium.

He said: "I've played in England already and I wanted to come down and see family.

"The manager spoke to my agent and that first conversation made me feel this was the place for me."
