Senior members had entries in the masters age category as well as novice events.

For the majority of the squad this was their first experience of multi-lane racing, but they still achieved several minor placings in the junior events – reaching A finals in two different categories, finishing in sixth and eighth in Scotland and a first place in the B Final, or seventh overall.

The club’s senior novices gained valuable experience over the 1km course, while there was some hardware to take home for the squad in the masters pair event.

There, Inverness won gold, a first at the Scottish Champs for former club president Dave Rothwell a full 23 years after first competing there.
