Inverness Caledonian Thistle have signed midfielder Sean McAllister on loan from Everton until the end of the season.

The 21-year-old, started his career at Dungannon Swifts before joining Everton in 2019.

He was rewarded for an impressive maiden Blues campaign with a professional contract in June 2020, signing a two-year deal.

McAllister impressed for Everton’s Under-18s side during the 2019/20 season.

In 2020/21 he played 23 of Everton Under-18s’ 24 U18 Premier League (North) matches, scoring eight goals and providing six assists and he regularly captained the team.

McAllister also made his first appearances for Everton Under-23s, featuring in the final two games of the 2020/21 campaign for David Unsworth’s team.

In 2021/22 and in 2023/23 McAllister continued to feature for Everton’s Under 23 in the Premier League 2.

In July 2022, Sean signed a new one-year deal at Everton, and he then signed another deal in April 2023 to extend his deal until Summer 2024.

He has represented Northern Ireland at U17 and U19s and received his first call up for the Under 21s in November.
