The victory keeps Loch Ness four points clear at the top after an incredible afternoon at King George V Park.

But five minutes later, Loch Ness found themselves in front thanks to an own goal and Allan Macphee strike.

But Halkirk went back in front thanks to an Anderson equaliser in the 29th minute and Liam Bain putting the Anglers in front.

Phil Macdonald made it 3-3 two minutes later as the teams were level at the break.

After a quiet start to the second half, the match exploded back into life in the 73rd minute when Josh Race scored two goals in the space of three minutes to put Loch Ness 5-3 up.

But Halkirk reduced the deficit to one with eight minutes remaining with Kyle Henderson finding the net to make it 5-4.
