If there were any concerns about the tricky trip to Ardrossan Academicals then they were easily brushed aside as Highland ran out 46-12 winners in some style.

Highland were straight into their game from the kick-off and played some fine 15-man rugby, amassing a 31 point lead by half time.

Jese Nawacalevu scored two tries as did Callum Carson, with one from Steven Rutledge along with three conversions from Scott Fraser.
