Macleod was in ruthless form beating Stephen Hepburn 6-0 in their week two postponed match, and knocking in a massive 85 break along the way.

Whilst co-chairman Alex Cooper let a 3-0 scoreline get away from him, and Hepburn dug in, to pull it back to 3-3 each.

Match of the week in the Championship Martin Logie beating Mike Forret 5–1, which saw Logie knock in a 51 break.

Meanwhile David Sinclair continues on winning with three out of three victories.

The battle for third place in Division 1 was fought with Alan Coull edging out Dylan Watson by 4–2. The opening frame saw both players knocking in various five and six ball breaks but the elusive 20 continued to evade both with Coull eventually taking the opening frame.

Watson bounced back in the second to level the scores at 1-1 before missing the final black in frame three with Coull's precision potting coming to the fore to regain the lead at 2-1.

The two subsequent frames went down to the final two colours but it was the visitor who got over the line to guarantee an away victory.

The final frame saw Watson reducing the deficit to salvage some pride.

After the match Watson commented: "The result was a fair one, he edged it, I'm looking forward to the return match later in the season."

In Divison Two James Macpherson stays top after finding form and beating Craig MacArthur 6-0, making breaks of 25, and 31 on the way.
