DUNDEE have completed the signings of Caley Thistle midfielders James Vincent and Danny Williams on pre-contract agreements.

The pair will both sign three-year deals with the Dark Blues at the end of the season, upon the expiration of their contracts at Inverness.

Caley Thistle boss John Hughes previously admitted he would struggle to offer them a better financial package than the one on offer at Dens Park.

Vincent cemented his place in club folklore with the winning goal in the Scottish Cup Final last May while Williams, who came from part-time football, has grown into one of the team's more dependable performers under Hughes.

Both signed for Caley Thistle in the summer of 2013 under Terry Butcher, with Vincent scoring on his debut against St Mirren.

They will follow in the footsteps of ex-Caley Jag Nick Ross, who made the same switch last summer.

Contracts remain on the table for Danny Devine, Lewis Horner and Liam Polworth, while Caley Thistle want to keep goalkeeper Owain Fon Williams.
