RUSSELL Duncan has become the third former Caley Thistle player to join Ross County before the start of next season.

The midfielder, who has agreed a two-year deal, will team up once again with ex-Inverness team-mates Grant Munro and Michael Fraser after being released by the Highland Capital club at the end of the previous campaign.

Duncan (30) spent 10 years at Caley Thistle and made 353 appearances, scoring 11 goals.

"Russell will add experience to the squad and complement the players we have in the midfield already," said Adams.

"He will bring an aggressive approach, but also provide composure and excellent game knowledge to the central area".

Adams has also brought in Kurtis Byrne (21) on a season-long long from former employers Hibernian.

"Kurtis arrives from Hibs where he was a prolific goal scorer in the youth and reserve teams," said Adams.

"He is quick, likes to make intelligent runs between central defenders and has a terrific ability to score goals.

"He is a youthful addition to our squad and will take a bit of time to develop into a regular in the starting eleven".
