Derby is easy motivation for Tremarco

Carl Tremarco says that Saturday’s Highland derby should be one of the easiest games of the season for Inverness Caledonian Thistle to get motivated for.

ICT go into the match against Ross County sitting at the top of the Scottish Championship after holding out for a 3-2 victory against Partick Thistle last weekend.

They leapfrogged County to do so, after the Staggies only drew away at Queen of the South.

But sitting at the top of the table seems to be secondary to local bragging rights for Caley Thistle’s captain, who says that this is a game that could affect players’ everyday life.

"If you can’t get up for this game, there’s no point in playing," Tremarco said.
