Rennie arrived at Station Park in the summer after a successful trial period with the club.

He played in home matches against Deveronvale and Fraserburgh as a trialist, before signing a short-term deal until the end of the season ahead of the Scottish Cup match against Drumchapel United.

Rennie came through the youth ranks at Inverness Caledonian Thistle before joining Rothes for two seasons in 2016.

He was then transferred to Strathspey Thistle in 2018, where he spent the following four years before moving on from Seafield Park in the summer after spending the second half of last season on loan at Inverness Athletic in the North Caledonian League.

Manager Steven Mackay was delighted to secure his services.

He said: “Stephen came into the team when we played Wick at home back in early November and has played every game since.

“He has performed very consistently at left back and his performances have contributed to the recent unbeaten run that we are on.

“We believe that he is only going to improve as a player as he has an excellent attitude and is always willing to listen and learn.”
