Michael Gardyne says Ross County’s exit in the Scottish Cup will not knock them off course in their bid to get promoted back to the Premiership.

The Staggies surrendered the lead twice in the fifth round replay as Inverness Caledonian Thistle won 5-4 on penalties after the two teams were locked at 2-2 after extra time.

Gardyne said with the team still in pole position in the Championship and an Irn Bru Cup final to look forward to, they are determined to stay top for the rest of the season and get back to the top flight of Scottish football.
