Darts title races are coming to the boil in Inverness

As we move well into the business end of the Innes Bar Winter Darts League many of the top of table tussles are indicating prospective champions.

With Portland A resting this week, East End Arrows took the opportunity to narrow the gap at the top of the A League to just one point after their 8–4 victory over Seaforth Club.

Portland have a game in hand and the Seaforth remain in third spot albeit four points adrift of the Arrows.

Still Game moved further away from the relegation spot with an 8–4 win against bottom team Tarradale.

Castle Street Elite remain undefeated at the top of the B League and are now four points clear of second placed Innes Power but have played a game more.

Castle Street defeated the Canteen 8–4 while the Power had an 11–1 victory over Thistle B.

Smithton Hotel are third equal after their 7–5 win over British Legion who have still to win a point this season.

In the C League SoBar Pirates won their first match this year with a 7–5 win against Innes X and 147 Buddies slipped up at the top of the table, losing 7–5 to Chieftain Storm.

Thursday fixtures: A League: Tarradale v East End Arrows, Still Game v Portland A, Battlefield Bullies v Seaforth Club

B League: Castle Street Elite v Innes Bar, Canteen v Smithton Hotel, British Legion v Innes Power

C League: Chieftain Storm v Innes X, 147 Buddies v Keppoch Belles, Arrowsmiths v SoBar Pirates
