The first round draws for the Balliemore and Sutherland Cups, as well as the first and second round draws for the Strathdearn Cup competition, are as follows:

The first round ties take place on Saturday 21st April with the second round set for Saturday 12th May.

In the Strathdearn Cup — the North of Scotland Junior championship — there are several local derbies with Inverness drawn against old foes Boleskine, while Glenurquhart and Strathglass come up against each other. Beauly face Lochaber at Braeview and Caberfeidh are away to Glengarry, one of the competition favourites.

Beaten 2010 finalists Glenurquhart were handed a first round bye, but will face either Kyles Athletic or Lochbroom in the second round. The first round ties in this competition go ahead on the Saturday 7th April.

Beauly have also landed south opposition and will face Tayforth at Braeview with Caberfeidh taking on the Army team, The Scots, at a venue yet to be decided.

Inverness are away to Lovat and Strathglass entertain Inveraray following the first round draw for the Sutherland Cup.

All the first round ties are scheduled to take place on the Saturday 14th April.

Strathglass were handed a tough assignment away to Oban Camanachd, but the tie of the first round sees record winners Caberfeidh away to Lochaber, while in a Wester Highland derby, Skye entertain Lochcarron.

In the Balliemore Cup, Inverness and Beauly are at home to south opposition in the shape of Oban Celtic and Glenorchy respectively.

Later, the focus of the meeting was on the various cup draws with all knockout competitions featuring apart from the MacTavish and Camanachd Cups.

But various proposals to tweak the rules surrounding free hits received little support from the club delegates.
