Croatian challenge up next for Cornish

The date has been set for Gary Cornish’s return to the boxing ring.

The Highlander will face Filip Hrgovic in the Croatian fighter’s hometown of Zagreb on September 8.

Hrgovic won a bronze medal in the 2016 Olympic Games and has a 5-0 professional record with four knockouts.

He also has a WBC ranking which Cornish will be looking to take with a win.
