DEREK Adams has made his seventh signing of the summer after agreeing a two-year deal with ex-Celtic youth player Rocco Quinn.

The midfielder spent five years in total at Parkhead, but was unable to make the breakthrough into the first-team.

After spells at Hamilton Accies and most recently Queen of the South, Quinn has chosen to remain in Division One with County.

"Rocco can play anywhere across the midfield area," said County manager Adams.

"He was a consistent performer over the last couple of seasons with Queen of the South and is capable of both creating and scoring goals from midfield."

Quinn (24) is the seventh new player to arrive at Victoria Park since Adams returned as manager last month.

Former Caley Thistle players Michael Fraser, Grant Munro and Russell Duncan have joined County as have forwards Colin McMenamin, Kurtis Byrne and Sam Morrow.
