ROSS County have completed the signing of former Caley Thistle goalkeeper Antonio Reguero.

The Spaniard was released by relegation-threatened Kilmarnock at the end of last season and makes his return to the Highlands after a season away.

The player announced the move on his Twitter feed, saying he was glad to announce his signing for the club and hoped to have success with the club next season.

Manager Derek Adams said he was delighted to add the experienced goalkeeper to his squad.

"He is looking forward to pre season training and working with the rest of the squad," he said. "Antonio is joined by Mark Brown, James MacLeod and Peter Tait, who will all be part of the goalkeeping department for the season ahead in both 1st team and development leagues."

Reguero will replace another former ICT stopper, Michael Fraser, who signed with League Two side Elgin City.

It follows the signing of striker Liam Boyce, who joined the Dingwall club from Cliftonville on Friday.

Adams praised the 23-year-old as a “proven goalscorer” and had turned down opportunities in England to sign for the Staggies.
