Marcus Fraser says Ross County cannot afford any slip-ups to win the Scottish Championship despite having a five-point advantage and a game in hand on the chasing pack.

The Staggies’s 3-2 win over Ayr United on Tuesday saw them beat one of their main title rivals, with Dundee United now in second place after beating Caley Thistle.

But despite looking good for an immediate return to the top flight, Fraser says they must make sure they don’t let their advantage slip going into the home straight of the 2018/19 campaign.

“There are 11 games to go and there are still plenty of points to play for,” he said.
