Two players missed Ross County's 0–0 draw with Aberdeen due to "internal disciplinary reasons", manager Malky Mackay has confirmed.
The Staggies named just eight substitutes, including goalkeepers Jake Eastwood and Ross Munro, due to a combination of injuries and suspensions.
However, Mackay revealed after the full time whistle that two further players were not included in the squad due to disciplinary reasons – although he refused to go into any further detail.
"We obviously had two suspended, and then two were not involved due to internal disciplinary reasons," Mackay said.
"That doesn't make thing easier on January 1, but that's the kind of thing you have to deal with as a manager. Another one of the boys' wives was rushed into hospital with her pregnancy – she's fine and everything's okay, but that disrupted things a little bit for him although not for me and not for the team.
"We had our process as usual ready to do everything we were going to do, so nothing was disrupted as far as I was concerned, they were just things I had to deal with, compartmentalise and put somewhere else.
"(The disciplinary issue) is something that we've dealt with. We'll be fine moving forward, they will be fine moving forward and hopefully they've learnt their lesson."
