Counter attacking suits Ross County

Ross County defender Sean Kelly thinks that giving up possession of the ball may actually benefit the Staggies.

County hit Dundee United on the counter attack to great effect last weekend, putting five goals past their Championship rivals.

Four of those goals came through crosses from the right wing towards the back post, often leaving teammates with simple finishes to find the back of the net.

Billy Mckay scored a hat trick, assisted by Josh Mullin each time, before their partnership flipped and Mckay turned provider for Mullin to score.

The other goal in the rout came from Kelly himself, direct from a wide free kick that went past everyone in the box and found its way into the far corner.
