Commonwealth Games bronze medallist returning home for special Inverness match

NORTH Kessock Commonwealth Games squash bronze medallist Greg Lobban is set to take on his doubles’ partner Rory Stewart at a special exhibition match at Inverness Tennis and Squash Club.

The duo are set to take part in the special event at the venue scheduled to take place on Saturday, January 14 at 7pm.

Lobban (30) started his squash career at Inverness Tennis and Squash Club and turned professional in 2012.

He went on to achieve a decade of success during his career.

The biggest achievement of his career was winning world doubles’ gold with Munlochy athlete Alan Clyne in 2016 in Darwin, Australia.

He also won a silver medal at the World Doubles Championship in Manchester in 2017 and in Glasgow in 2022 as well as a bronze medal in the mixed doubles earlier this year.
