The deal was confirmed on Saturday that MacDonald, along with assistant manager Michael Mackenzie and coaches Tommy Wilson and Martin Callum have signed contracts to keep them at the club until 2026.

Macdonald took charge of the Lilywhites in September 2020, but due to the impact of the pandemic, only enjoyed his first full campaign this season.

Clachnacuddin finished the Highland League season in 11th place after their 3–1 defeat to Buckie Thistle on Saturday.
