Forward Paul Brindle has left Clachnacuddin, the club have confirmed.

The 30-year-old has been in and out of the team at Grant Street Park this season due to injuries, with his last appearance coming on March 18.

That was a happy moment for Brindle, though, as he scored in a Clach win over Lossiemouth.

This was his second spell with the Lilywhites, having rejoined the club on a one-year deal from Forres Mechanics last summer.

At that point, it was a return to the club he had left seven years earlier to join Brora Rangers, with a Highland League Cup winners' medal in the trophy cabinet from his first spell with Clach.

In a short statement on social media, Clachnacuddin said: "We would like to thank Paul for all his efforts and commitment to the club over the season.

"We would like to wish Paul all the very best in his next footballing venture."
