Clachnacuddin chairman Alexander Chisholm says the club will wait for the right man to come along to take over as manager of the Highland League side.

The Lilywhites are looking to appoint someone to take charge of the Merkinch outfit after Iain Polworth resigned as manager after being in the dugout for 10 years at Grant Street Park.

Now the club are looking for a new man to take Clachnacuddin into a new era and improve their season as they languish in 16th place in the SHFL.

Chisholm says no decision is expected to be made this week as he will be holding discussions with assistant manager Ally Ewen and first team coach Kevin Munro on Friday before deciding how they will proceed.
