HIGHLAND League club Clach will come out of administration within days.

Accountancy firm Johnston Carmichael, which was appointed administrators of the Inverness club in November 2009, has confirmed that the sale of the Clach social club has been completed and that the club will exit administration within the next few days.

The sale of the club, for £190,000, involved a number of parties, with Inverness Bible Fellowship, the Clach Supporters Society and Highland Council all buying separate parts of the property.

Business Recovery and Insolvency Partner at Johnston Carmichael Gordon MacLure said: “The securing of this deal was a great example of cooperation between different elements of the community, which all have an interest in the club, collectively coming together in difficult circumstances to find a solution satisfactory to all parties.”

Mr MacLure added that he would now be writing to all the club's creditors to fully update them on events and the timing of payment to them.
