CENTRAL defender Chris Hogg has become Caley Thistle's 10th summer signing.

The 26-year-old former Hibs player has signed a one year deal at the club after playing on loan for Inverness since January.

He goes straight into the squad to face his former employers at Tulloch Caledonian Stadium tomorrow.

"I'm delighted that Chris has signed a one year deal as we needed another centre half and his vast experience will help our younger players," said Caley Thistle manager Terry Butcher.

"I've kept track of him during the summer but his call to say he wanted to return came right out of the blue - but it was a superb surprise."

It completes a hat-trick of signings this week at Inverness with Welsh international Owain Tudur Jones and Austrian under-21 player Thomas Piermayr joining the club.

"This week's signings are mature, physical players with good experience," Butcher added.
