Highland Rugby Club head coach Dave Carson has set his players the challenge of winning every game they have left to play this season.
The final run of matches before the end of the National One campaign starts this Saturday when Carson takes his side to struggling Boroughmuir.
Barring a major collapse from Biggar, the title and the promotion spot that comes with it looks out of reach, while there is an eight-point gap to Heriot’s Blues who currently occupy second.
But Carson is keen to make sure standards do not slip, and after an impressive performance against Premiership leaders Marr two weeks ago the bar has been set.
“We talked about targets after getting beaten by Heriots last month, we want to finish as high as we can and we want to win our last six matches,” Carson explained.
“We’ve challenged the boys to win every game until the end of the season.
“Based on our last performance against Marr, we would hope to do that.”
