Caley Thistle Women have a chance at redemption this weekend when they make the journey to Glasgow to take on Rossvale.

The two teams met at Millburn Academy just a few weeks ago, with Rossvale coming out on top 3–2.

That was the last game in a disappointing run for the Caley Jags in the SWF Championship, but they showed a strong response in their most recent outing.

Against league leaders Livingston in the Scottish Cup, underdogs Inverness significantly raised their level to win 2–1 and set up a fourth round tie away at Glasgow Women.

Top scorer Kayleigh Mackenzie got a late winner that day, and afterwards called it one of their best performances of the season.

With just one match remaining before the winter break then, manager Karen Mason will be desperate for her side to repeat such a strong display to put three more points on the board.

Sitting 20 points behind Livingston, the title is gone for Caley Thistle.

However, they may still be able to reel in some of the other teams ahead of them in the league table, and with Rossvale being one of them Sunday presents a genuine chance to close that gap.

ICT can take confidence from knowing they have already beaten Rossvale this season, winning 5–4 on the opening day.
