Inverness Caledonian Thistle's women have seen more firepower added to their ranks with the signing of Betty Ross after a trial period.
The 18-year-old has regularly been amongst the top scorers in the Highlands and Islands League over the last three years for Clachnacuddin, where she was part of the squad that became the inaugural champions.
However, Ross has now elected to make the step up from the recreational arm of Scottish Women's Football into the performance branch with Championship outfit Caley Thistle.
There, she links up with former Lilywhites teammate Rhea Hossack, and the pair will be hoping for similar success – both individually and collectively – as Inverness bid for a spot in the Scottish Women's Premier League Two.
First, though, cup action is calling as the teenager could make her debut in Sunday's Championship Cup quarter final away at Dryburgh Athletic.
ICT manager Karen Mason said of Ross' arrival: "We are delighted to welcome Betty to the club.
"She has been a stand out in the Highlands and Islands League and I was very pleased when she approached us to make the step up to Championship football.
"She has fitted in well and will go straight in to the squad for Sunday's trip to Dryburgh."
