The 26-year-old completed his move from Glasgow to the English Championship outfit for a fee reported to be around £1.5 million.

Christie's contract was due to expire in January and Celtic agreed to his transfer south of the border.

When Christie signed for Celtic in 2015, it was reported a sell-on clause was in place to benefit Inverness should he leave Parkhead for a transfer fee.

Christie came through the Inverness Caledonian Thistle youth academy and played in the first team for two seasons, including the Scottish Cup winning team in 2015, before moving to Parkhead.

Christie was also reported to be attracting interest from English Premiership club Burnley, but has signed for Bournemouth who are currently sixth in the English Championship.

Christie is currently with the Scotland squad preparing for tomorrow's World Cup qualifier against Denmark.
