Inverness Caledonian Thistle have confirmed that the player who went into self-isolation last week does not have coronavirus.

A statement on the club's website read: "The club can confirm that the player that went into isolation last week does not have Covid-19 and is returning to training this week with the rest of the squad.

"No players, staff or coaches at ICTFC are in isolation."

The player's identity has remained confidential throughout the process, after Caley Thistle confirmed he was isolating himself last Friday.

Earlier that day the Scottish FA had announced it was suspending the Scottish football season until further notice as part of the national effort to slow the spread of the illness and ease pressure on emergency services.
