NATHAN Shaw is set to return for Inverness Caledonian Thistle tomorrow for their clash with Queen’s Park at the Caledonian Stadium.

The 22-year-old, who arrived at the Caledonian Stadium from AFC Fylde in the summer, has recovered from a hamstring injury which he sustained before their clash with Partick Thistle last month.

Shaw had impressed as the season has progressed having made 12 appearances so far this season.

Head coach Billy Dodds says it is a massive boost to have Shaw back in the squad.

“It’s brilliant to have Nathan back,” he said.

“He trained a couple of days last week, but the game came too quick for him.

“It is great to have him available because he was in some vein of form before he got injured.

“He has trained all week, so I’m happy to add him to the squad.”

However, defender Max Ram will be out for at least another two weeks as he continues to recover from injury.

No movements in the transfer window were expected to be made by Inverness last night.

But Dodds says they will take their time to decide if it is worth bringing in new personnel to the squad.

He is not ruling out making any new signings this month.

“There will be patience. I think we’ll go to the end of the window,” says Dodds.

“We’ll see who is out there, but nothing might happen.

“We’ve got to be shrewd and go right to the window and, by that time this month, we might see where we are in terms of squad depth and how the injuries are going.

“We’ll be hopefully adding, but if we can’t, we can’t.

“I think we have a good enough squad here when I get all my players fit.

“I don’t think there is anything too wrong with the squad when we have everyone fit.”
