Queen's Park progressed into the fifth round of the Scottish Cup after two late goals gave them victory in Inverness.

Dominic Thomas gave Queen's Park the lead before Scott Williamson killed the game off to set up a clash at Livingston in two weeks time.

Queen's Park dominated the early stages of the encounter and came close to opening the scoring after 15 minutes.

Dominic Thomas sent a ball down the centre of the Inverness defence which found Stephen Eze with only the goalkeeper to beat. But he was unable to control the ball as he hit wide of the right post.

But Inverness responded soon afterwards and were only denied by the woodwork when Jay Henderson, on loan from St Mirren, saw his shot cannon off the right post.

The ball fell to Cameron Harper soon after, but he could only drive his shot straight at goalkeeper Callum Ferrie.

Queen's Park continued piled on the pressure and were awarded a free kick at the edge of the box when Wallace Duffy was booked for a handball from a Louis Longridge strike.

Thomas Robson thundered a free-kick through the Inverness defensive wall, but forced a fine save from Ridgers to keep the score level.

Inverness came back into the game late on and came close to going in the lead when Danny Devine beat Queen's defence to a corner into the box, but nodded inches wide of the right post.

But the deadlock was broken with 14 minutes remaining as Scott Williamson drove into the box and his cross found Thomas who fired home from 12 yards out.

Mckay came close to levelling for Inverness in the closing stages, but Ferrie was equal to his shot to keep them in the lead.

Williamson then killed the game off with four minutes remaining when he latched on to a long ball in the box before firing from a tight angle past Ridgers from six yards.
