Fort William player of the year Ryan Fyffe says players have improved after year on loan from Inverness Caley Thistle

Ryan Fyffe says spending a year in the Highland League with Fort William has improved him and his other team-mates who went on loan from Caley Thistle.

The centre back received a top award after being named Fort William’s player of the season for the 2019/20 campaign.

Fyffe (18) was one of nine players who went to the West Highland outfit at the start of the season to gain experience of playing senior football.

He was delighted to win the award and said all the players who went on loan to Fort William benefited from the experience.
