Caley Thistle have now gone five matches without a win in the league after falling to a 2-1 defeat to Queen’s Park in Stenhousemuir last weekend.

The defeat has seen Inverness fall to sixth place in the table, after a poor performance in the second half after going into the break with a 1-0 lead.

Ram admits the team are going through a tough period of results, combined with the injury crisis as nine players are out of action.

However, he says it is vital everyone involved with the club keeps the faith they can turn their season around.

“We are determined to do it,” says Ram.

“We have the right characters in the team, we are working on things we need to work on. Everyone knows what the league is about, a win here and there can put us back up there.

“We need the belief from everyone around us, players and fans to help us do what we are setting out to achieve.”

Billy Mckay put Inverness in front in the first half as the visitors looked comfortable before the break.

But Queen’s Park unleashed an onslaught of attacks on the Inverness goalmouth and deservedly secured victory with goals from Charlie Fox and Simon Murray.

Ram says their second half performance was well below the standards that are expected from them.

“It was a tale of two halves, we were out of the blocks in the first half, we knew what they were about but I think that we handled it quite good,” he said.

“It was solid all over the park and it was a great team effort.

“But in the second half we did not come out with the right energy as a collective.

“It wasn’t good enough and mistakes will cost us goals.”
