HEAD coach Billy Dodds insisted there is no problem between him and goalkeeper Mark Ridgers after he was dropped in favour of Cammy MacKay for their 1-1 draw against Arbroath today.

Ridgers, who was substituted at half time in their 4-0 defeat to Greenock Morton the previous weekend, was dropped to the bench in favour of MacKay.

Dodds says Ridgers accepted the decision and that he is blessed to have two goalkeepers who are good enough to start in the first team.

"Mark has made a couple of errors but he has been good to me, I am blessed to have two good goalkeepers," said Dodds.

"This is not the Cammy Mackay at 21 when he wasn't putting enough pressure on Mark.

"This is the Cammy Mackay who has turned out to be a top goalkeeper. I am lucky to have the two of them.

"Some people look in from the outside and make up stories.

"Mark and I had a chat on Monday, told him what I was thinking and he had no problem.

"He was great by being a big support to Cammy.

"He accepted the decision brilliantly and now we move on, Cammy has the jersey just now and I want competition, I am lucky to have two good goalkeepers."

Caley Thistle's winless run in the Championship has extended to four matches as Arbroath came from behind to rescue a point in a 1-1 draw.

Nathan Shaw gave Caley Thistle the lead seven minutes into the second half, but Kieran Shanks levelled on the hour mark for Arbroath.
